What is Neto?
Neto is an Australian retail and wholesale management platform that provides a complete solution for eCommerce, POS, Inventory & Fulfilment.
Neto has built a custom Temando extension, which can offer the below benefits to merchants:
- Integrated into Neto workflow
- Able to print and manifest shipping consignment for Temando Carriers
- Provide customer real-time freight quotes for each carrier
- One Temando account access to multiple carriers
- One weekly invoice to manage via Temando.

How do I use the Temando extension with Neto?
1. Head over to Neto and please go through their installation guide to activate Temando on your Neto Account.
(Please ensure Neto Ship Add-on from Neto's Add-on Store has been installed first and then follow the instructions provided).
2. Add relevant Temando details into your Neto configuration
- Temando Login ID
- Temando Password
- Temando Client ID
Once your production environment is live, enter in your default pick-up (origin) location. The 3rd Party calculator options help when determining your quotes you can get back from the Temando System .
Packaging Type - is the common package that most items will be shipped in e.g. Satchel/Bag or Carton or Box
Load Type - is the mode of the item being sent. The options are Truckload, Less than load, Container most customers use Less than load.
Origin Type - is the type of location an item is being picked up from, Business or Residential.
Destination Type - is the type of location an item is being delivered to, Business or Residential.
What carriers can I access with Neto?

What if I don't have a Temando account?
If you do not have a current Temando account please contact our Customer Support via our Chat Now function, and we can get one of our Sales Team to contact you for our pricing information and what we can do for you.
Troubleshooting Neto Issues
If you are having issues with the Temando Plugin within Neto, we first ask you to try to quoting using our Temando Dashboard system with your Temando Account Details. ( Login Id and Password ) .
You will need to go to dashboard.temando.com.au to generate a quote.
Simply login and select the Send option on the main page and our quoting tool will open.
To generate a quote please enter the following information:
- Dimensions of your item (please ensure you are quoting in centimeters not millimeters)
- Weight of your item ( If you have multiple boxes or satchel you can select add another item to add the next one in just be sure to supply a quantity amount)
- Pickup and delivery postcodes
From check if you see options of carrier choices. If you do see carrier options show up that do not show up within Neto, please confirm the carrier options you have selected in your carrier matrix. If you see options within the Temando Dashboard and not in Neto , or seeing different price options than Neto for the same carriers then there might be an issue with your Neto plugin.
If no quotes are available & you have entered all details correctly, unfortunately this generally means that either your items is too large to be shipped via our carrier partners or our carrier partners do not service your location(s). So if this is the case on both Neto and Temando Dashboard, then this particular shipment can't be sent using our service.
If there are issues with the Neto plugin you will need to contact Neto Support ( one option is to go to https://www.netohq.com/support/s/ask-us ) and begin a support enquiry. Since Neto manage this plugin internally within their company we are unable to provide any guidence on the issue that is occurring and Neto support will need to investigate and provide details on how to rectify your issue.
We do ask that if NETO does come to the conclusion that is still a Temando Issue, we will need to see the SOAP XML calls that are linked to the issue to determine what is occurring and then these can be email to us with a description of the issue and steps to create the issue if neccessary and can be sent to email@example.com, please do include your Temando login id and/or client id of your Temando account so we can confirm against your acccount the issues.
