As well as choosing the default pricing method WooCommerce Free Shipping and WooCommerce Flat Rate can operate alongside Temando.

The below illustrates the WooCommerce packaging details.
If using Temando packaging, please ensure the weights and dimensions of your products are entered and accurate. These details are then used by Temando to calculate accurate shipping quotes. Without correct information, the default setting is used which could result in inaccurate shipping quotes, or incur extra charges from the carrier.
If the products all have the same dimensions please use the default dimensions in the Temando settings and ignore this step.
To configure dimensions for your products, log into your WooCommerce admin panel, WooCommerce > Products > Edit > Product Data > Shipping as below:
It's important to note here that Temando can only support simple products; no virtual, downloadable, external, grouped, or variable products are supported.
Next, enter the weight, dimensions and packaging type and indicate whether it is fragile or not. Finally, click Update in the Publish box on the right-hand side to save your product dimensions.

Zones & Warehouses
Shipping from multiple locations is a great way of spreading fulfillment demand as well as minimizing shipping costs. Temando makes it easy to set up and ship from multiple locations by creating zones and warehouses.
Temando Zones are used to define different service areas.
Temando Warehouses are used to define different service centers (stores that fulfill the needs for linked service areas).
Each warehouse must have at least one zone assigned to it and zones may be serviced by multiple warehouses.
Temando Manage Zones: displays Temando zones grid; Add New Zone or Edit existing zones
Temando Edit Zone: define the zone name, country and postcode ranges for the zone.
Temando Manage Warehouses: displays the Temando warehouses grid; Add New Warehouse or Edit existing warehouses.
General Information: define the name, status, company, priority (which warehouse will be selected if both/all are able to fulfill the need) and location type.
Address and Contact Details: define warehouse details and link to a Temando zone to serve.
Extra Location Information: define extra options available at the warehouse location
Temando Manage Shipments
This is where you can view and manage the shipments.
As your orders flow in, they will appear on this page where you can organize a shipment. Click on any given order to view more details. You can manually create a Temando Shipment by order in the section above the grid.
Select Process to view the Order details;
This will open the details of the shipment selected including the Status, Destination Address, Origin Location, Items ordered, Boxes to Ship, and the Available Quotes.
Article Allocation/Packaging Options
The article allocation functions allow the operator to assign items into boxes for shipping.
Select Article Allocation
The operator can edit the size of the boxes used for this shipment. If your product has been set up with dimensions, this step should allocate the smallest box for packaging the items in the order.
Any additional changes to the order details (delivery address, package dimensions etc.) can then be confirmed, Save and get quotes after making any alterations.
Illustrated below is an example of quotes generated for this shipment.
Select the shipping quote that best suits your needs from the bottom of the page and select Make Booking.
Once booked, a green notification will confirm that the shipment has been booked.
The button on the top right will now read View consignment or View thermal label. Select this to retrieve the shipping label and attach it to the package.
A Manifest is a document that summarizes all orders/consignments for a particular carrier on a particular day. The driver is able to use a manifest to collect multiple items at once without needing to scan each individual item.
Please note: not all carriers require a manifest. If unsure, please contact Temando.
To generate a manifest a permanent pickup is required with the carrier(s).
Please confirm the details with Temando prior if uncertain.
Creating a Manifest
Select the warehouse location, carrier and date then Add Manifest. New manifests will be populated in the grid.
Hover over manifest and click download under the Manifest Document column. At this point the manifest is only a draft and as such the manifest type will read Awaiting Confirmation. Confirm all relevant orders are on the manifest and select Confirm Manifests.
Print all order labels for the manifest by hovering over manifest and selecting download under the Label Document column.
Please note: manifesting needs to be completed to ensure tracking. The suggested process is as below:
- Book all orders in Manage Shipments
- Add Manifest to confirm that the manifest includes all consignments
- Once verified, Confirm Manifest
- Once confirmed, print and attach order labels and provide the manifest document to the driver
Generating Pick Slips
Pick Slips can be used to confirm to the operators and warehouse staff, what items are needed to fulfill the orders. Within Temando, printing pick slips can be found on the Temando Manage Shipments page, selecting an order and clicking Pick Slip in the top right.
The pick slip will then download as a PDF, ready for printing and picking.
Packaging logic consolidates your orders into your pre-determined standard packaging sizes to increase the efficiency of your pick and pack process. Additionally, Temando will use your individual product dimensions in conjunction with your packaging sizes to determine the most appropriate package for your shipment.
Within the Temando packaging logic grid, you can Add New Package or Edit an existing package.
Edit the Package
Define your own package:
Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding Systems (HS) is an international nomenclature for the classification of products. It allows participating countries to classify traded goods on a common basis for customs purposes. At the international level, the Harmonized System (HS) for classifying goods is a six-digit code system.
Please note: The HS codes are required only if offering international shipping. Temando is unable to enter these details in for you, as the codes need to be confirmed by a Custom’s Agent and it is best that you seek professional advice on the correct code for your product.
To add in a new HS Code select Add New HS Code and you will see this page.
Place in the details required and press Save.
If you need to delete any HS Codes you can either select all codes via the tick box on the left and then do a bulk action of delete.
Or you can delete or edit each HS Code separately;

To be able to edit and/or delete any taxes in the system, select the row you require and press Edit or Delete:
If you have multiple entries to delete you can select the tick boxes and use the bulk actions dropdown to delete:
