How do I get a quote?
As we are an online service that is able to provide a range of competitive courier solutions you will need to go to www.temando.com.au to generate a quote.
Simply select the Send option on the main page and our quoting tool will open.
To generate a quote please enter the following information:
1. Dimensions of your item (please ensure you are quoting in centimetres not millimetres)
2. The weight of your item
3. Pickup and delivery postcodes
Why am I not getting quotes?
Top Tip: Double check if you are putting your measurements in as millimetres but the system is stating centimetres. Quite a number of quoting errors are due to this.
If no quotes are available & you have entered all details correctly, generally this means that either your items are too large to be shipped via our carrier partners or our carrier partners do not service your location(s).
Please contact support@temando.com for further assistance, if you could let us know what you are trying to ship (dimensions/weight/packaging type) & the pickup/delivery addresses, that would be great.
How do I make a booking?
Follow the steps above to make a quote. If you are happy with the quote, select the carrier of your choice and follow the prompts to complete your booking.
Our system will ask you to either log in to your Temando account or sign up for an account to complete your booking. There is no sign-up fee.
The final step will be the payment page and get you will get your labels for shipment. Don't forget to print out the consignment note and attach to your parcel, so the courier can collect your parcel with ease.
Why are the dimensions/weights important?
Accurate dimensions and weights are important as they determine (along with the pickup/delivery address) the quote for your shipment. Carriers do scan each parcel through highly calibrated dimension machines & will pass on additional charges if the dimensions & weight of your parcel is under-declared.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes?
Startrack is our only carrier that will deliver to post office boxes. This is based on their relationship with Australia Post. Australia Post will also deliver to post office boxes, but you will need to have your own rates for Australia Post loaded into your Temando account to be able to access them as a carrier.
I need a regular pickup from my premises.
Absolutely! We can arrange regular pickups for you. Simply complete the form below and send it to support@temando.com
All carriers do have a daily freight spend of $50aud to qualify for regular collections, so if you do not qualify to have a daily pickup, we can always arrange either a bi-weekly or tri-weekly dependant on your volumes.
I need a same day service. Can this be arranged?
On the dashboard, you can make a same day booking by selecting the "Startrack Next Flight " service which is a point to point service (meaning it will be collected from the sender & won't stop transit until delivery).
There are other carrier options that do metro-only same day services.

How do I ship a parcel that has dangerous materials?
To be able to ship dangerous goods, you will need to have a dangerous goods carrier added to your account. Please contact support@temando.com for more information.
Can I ship perishables?
Temando has no perishable services within our carrier arrangements. Most carriers do not have transport options suitable to transport perishable goods, so it is recommended that you contact a courier service directly that specialises in transporting perishable goods.
Can I ship furniture?
Temando would recommend that unless your furniture can be palletised and either placed into a suitable box or plastic wrapped, that you contact a furniture transport company directly, as the carrier trucks do not straps, mats or pads that will ensure the safe transit of your furniture.
